I think for khakis, skirts and dresses, these will be great in the summer….or spring which is officially next week :)
I fully and completely blame a friend who pointed out a St. Paddy’s Day sale code plus Bing cashback making them a pretty good deal! And with the platform they are 4.5″ tall :)
And they might just look really cute with that pink Kooba….hmmm….will need to compare shades of pink!
Sometimes you don’t want to wear 4″ or 5″ heels…for those occasions you need cute flats. Found some! AND I had a gift card from my birthday last year still to use at Nordstrom so voila! In conclusion – they are mine!! :)

I’ve been looking at these bags for almost a year now. Debating on size, color, should I…and then I just had a momentary breakdown of restraint…and she is now mine.
My baby blue
I got the “First Bag”. I think a good size for me in this color. I LOVE baby blue (technically called Sky Blue.) I debated with the Sorbet (pink after all being my all-time favorite color) but decided if I get another Balenciaga – I will get a larger one in a shade of pink. But I am also keeping my eye on several other pink bags so who knows…(the Kooba I bought doesn’t count since I’d get a different shade of pink! And the Gustto is a clutch – totally different style!)
I also debated with the Storm color :) But this baby blue was just so pretty. Now I have a reason to want spring to get here! This will look sooooo cute with a cute dress or white tank top and jeans…and me tan of course! Sitting on the lawn at Chandon in Napa…in the warm sun….sigh…yes, spring soon(ish) would be nice…
LOVE the blue suede…and my other blue suede shoes are much, much darker so hardly count as “having the same thing” already :)

Just bought this. LOVE it! Great color. I can imagine wearing in spring and summer (when I am hopefully tan!) with a white or other singular-colored dress or outfit and throwing this bag over my shoulder for a splash of awesome pink!
Kooba has great leather – very, very soft. While I am loving my winter weather and my winter bags, I am looking forward to my warmer weather and warmer-weather friends too :)
And no…you can never have enough bags…or shoes :)
And also no…this does not replace the pink Chanel quilted I want or the Botkier James satchel I blogged about previously. TOTALLY different shades of pink and bag styles :)

Really? She looks 14...
It’s ridiculous when I get catalogs for clothing obviously not meant for 15 year-olds but with models who barely look 15. It looks so dumb (see almost every single clothing ad in Vanity Fair.) I get that you need stick thin models and it’s much easier to find that in teenyboppers but unless you are advertising Abercrombie or The Gap it just looks silly.
…this bag screams my name. It is SO me. Especially the “tan-armed, cute dress or silky tank-top wearing” me in the spring and summer…

I think every single facial product sold nowadays has to promise to reduce spots, or wrinkles, or just a general reversal of aging. And while I can see people falling for those claims and promises with night/day creams and potions (and my people I mean me, myself and I), I can’t imagine anyone actually believing make-up (especially eyeshadow!?) will deliver this. It might cover up aging to a limited degree but otherwise I think it’s rather silly to make or believe this claim (unless you can walk around photoshopped – now THAT would be the invention!!)
But any make-up you spend money on and wear should make you feel pretty. And I think that when you feel that you look good, you emanate that so then you do look good. So maybe if you believe you look a little younger, you walk around with a smile and then you do look younger. So it IS magic-fairy dust!
But hey – they are great colors so I will still buy no matter what… :)
