These are now mine. Will be here tomorrow. Hopefully they fit well because I do LOVE the look of them! And the best part?! NOT made in China!! HA! Supporting other economies one purchase at a time…
I was snagged by the email ad I got showing these boots along with a cute outfit. Frankly, I probably would have hit delete without even looking if the picture of the outfit wasn’t included…
I actually bought them from endless even though the email/ad was from piperlime as endless is having 20% off boots right now. Plus I went through ebates and got another 7.5% cashback. Piperlime has 15% cashback from ebates right now but no sale on site. Both offer free shipping plus endless has NO sales tax – ha!
I have been hesitant on OTK boots since it’s not like I will wear them all *that* much and they are pretty trendy so spending loads of dollars on something that might stay in rotation for a year or 2 at best seemed silly. Plus a lot of them are either flat (no fun) or stripper-like (no thanks.) These are the right amount of casual for skinny jeans or with a cute mini.
We’ll see how cute they are in real life when they arrive tomorrow!
This tote is the perfect pink for me….but seems over-priced to me for a canvas bag….although undeniably adorable and well…Chanel.
If I could just find my quilted shoulder bag in THIS shade of pink with silver hardware – INSTANT purchase!
Also loving this jacket. A lot. LOVE houndstooth….
I am liking these high-heeled Oxford from J Crew. Mixing the conservative banker with a little naughty…
They could totally go badly with the wrong outfit/attitude. Like a little wicked witch-ish. But the right outfit? I’m thinking hot. Plus, I love wing-tips…
These however….J Crew….elf shoes?
I totally want this coat…in the “warm taupe” pictureD here which appears pinky to me…
I would look soooo cute in it :)
J Crew silk multi-color tank top
J Crew light green spring-weight cashmere cardigan
Michael Kors mustard yellow 5″ heels
Kate Spade Kelly green Opus
All tie in color-wise to my True Religion “butterfly” Joeys.
I totally win today’s color coordination contest :)
So I might have gone a bit crazy in my recent brown shopping and they both arrived this last week…
In my defense, I needed and wanted a more structured brown “worky-type” bag plus Kate Spade was having a super sale! This leather is so, so soft and nice. And I think it’s great for work. It’s a good size, not too big and big enough to throw stuff in as I run out the door to work. Very simple and yet nice.

Then…I have been searching for my perfect pink Chanel bag forever. I found it once and didn’t buy it. Total fail. But if you know me, you know that after pink, a nice, deep chocolate brown is my 2nd favorite color. And then I saw this…
Chanel
I just went ahead and did it. I bought it. It’s the “medium” size of the quilted leather bags – technically the “modern chain quilted flap shoulder handbag.” No regrets AT ALL. It took over the crown from my Louboutins and Ralph Lauren boots as the single most expensive item in my closet. I’m thinking I need to use it a lot to make sure I get my money’s worth! Now I just to find my perfect-shade-of-brown cashmere V-neck sweater to go with it!
I love that the bag has a more distressed look. The leather and hardware are not shiny and the bag has the perfect look for grabbing and running to Stanford, to lunch, to Napa or even to Tahoe. Kinda perfect for me :)
I cannot wait for autumn to set in a bit more to use it!! Whheeeeeeee!!!!!
“The Luella Gisele bag was launched in 2002 by Luella Bartley, though it only became really popular by the end of 2003 and early 2004 with celebrities such as Kate Moss, Reese Witherspoon and Christina Aguilera toting the bag on their arms. The fact that the bag was named after Gisele Bundchen might have also helped in its marketing along the way.
With English equestrian inspirations, the Luella Gisele bag came out in three main sizes, the baby, the standard and the large (as shown in the pictures here). The colours were all amazing on these bags, notably bright happy colours from apple green to yellow, pink and red.
The collaborated effort between Mulberry and Luella Bartley for the Luella Gisele proved quite creative in efforts and the design of this bag was produced in various materials from calf grained leather to patent leather, suede and canvas”
I don’t know about all this…I just really liked the colors and details of the bag. And got it on super sale! Plus with some store credit after “liking” the store (avelle.com) on FB (yay!) And had it shipped to friend in Reno (no sales tax.) Double-yay!
Avelle really has some good deals (sometimes) on couture bags. I was actually drooling over both a Louis Vuitton (one of the few LV bags I actually like enough to buy – no LVs all over it) and a Prada (gorgeous yellow color which I have NO bags in so need one!) but they were both sold before I had a chance to checkout! Dammit!
But I liked this one a lot as it looks quite whimsical and fun PLUS a great baby pink color which I totally need. And husband loves Giselle so he can’t possibly be annoyed by such a cute purchase that was named after her, right? ;)
Ok, I better step away from the computer and internet shopping and go on a hike now…
I’ve been wanting a more “structured” dark chocolate brown bag as my Kooba, that I totally LOVE, is more casual and slouchy. Plus I switched out bags today into my KS Opus in kelly green and remembered how much I LOVE the bag. Such soft leather and great design. So I checked to see if KS had anything good on sale and Tah-dah!
I’ll still want a smaller bag in this same color too. But I can’t help it – I love, love, love this color! Plus, totally a good deal on sale at katespade.com with FREE shipping! Wheeee! Oh! And 3.5% cash back if you link through ebates.com. If you are going to shop – shop smart :)
I ordered these on Friday via endless.com as they had a bing.com offer for 40%. I have a pretty solid rule not to pay more than $50ish for flats as really – that’s just silly. They are flats. I have been tempted by cute Kate Spade or Tod’s flats and some quite awesome J Crew Italian flats just this past spring. But NO I say. Spending more than $50 on ballet flats is robbery. Just silly robbery.
But then…I saw the pink satin mouse…I had to order them – at 40% off designer shoes – come on!! And my perfect color!!! Plus I figured, if I didn’t absolutely love them, I could send them back. No harm, no foul.
Received them today. Tried them on. SQUEEEEEE! SO CUTE!!! They are even cuter in person. I can’t wear 4-5″ heels EVERY day! Keepers….for sure. And they don’t actually smell like mice so the huskies won’t care about them :)
