{"id":762,"date":"2009-08-07T19:02:16","date_gmt":"2009-08-08T02:02:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/a99kitten.com\/?p=762"},"modified":"2009-08-07T16:13:08","modified_gmt":"2009-08-07T23:13:08","slug":"the-american-medical-association-has-weighed-in-on-obamas-new-health-care-package","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/a99kitten.com\/?p=762","title":{"rendered":"The American Medical Association has weighed in on Obama&#8217;s new health care package&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Allergists were in favor of\u00a0 scratching it, but the <span id=\"lw_1249667395_0\" style=\"background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 0%; cursor: pointer;\">Dermatologists<\/span> advised not to make any rash moves.<\/p>\n<p>The Gastroenterologists had sort of a gut feeling about it, but the <span id=\"lw_1249667395_1\">Neurologists<\/span> thought the Administration had a lot of nerve.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile,\u00a0 Obstetricians felt certain everyone was laboring under a misconception, while the <span id=\"lw_1249667395_2\">Ophthalmologists<\/span> considered the idea shortsighted.<\/p>\n<p>Pathologists yelled, &#8220;Over my dead body!&#8221;, while the <span id=\"lw_1249667395_3\">Pediatricians<\/span> said, &#8220;Oh, grow up!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The <span id=\"lw_1249667395_4\">Psychiatrists<\/span> thought the whole idea was madness, while the Radiologists could see right through it.<\/p>\n<p>Surgeons\u00a0 decided to wash their hands of the whole thing and the <span id=\"lw_1249667395_5\">Internists<\/span> claimed it would indeed be a\u00a0 bitter pill to swallow.<\/p>\n<p>The Plastic Surgeons opined that this proposal would &#8220;put a whole new face on the matter&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The Podiatrists thought it was a step forward, but the <span id=\"lw_1249667395_6\">Urologists<\/span> were pissed off at the whole idea.<\/p>\n<p>Anesthesiologists thought the whole idea was a gas, and those softy Cardiologists didn&#8217;t have the heart to\u00a0 say no.<\/p>\n<p>In the end, the Proctologists won out, leaving the entire decision up to the assholes in Washington&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>(as received from my Democrat mother-in-law..even she knows it&#8217;s all crap!) ;-)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Allergists were in favor of\u00a0 scratching it, but the Dermatologists advised not to make any rash moves.
