Over the past 3 years or so husband has created a “donation or sell” pile in our home office. It has gotten bigger and bigger with no action on the actual donating or selling.<\/p>\n
Last night I had to get everything off of the floor as the carpet cleaners were coming this morning. So I took all of the bags of stuff I put together to be donated in the garage. I also took about 2\/3 of his pile using the, what I considered, logical reason that it’s been there for THREE years. <\/p>\n
He saw the pile in the garage this morning. He moved several of the items to get to his car. <\/p>\n
On my way to work today I dropped everything off. I was thrilled. Stuff out of my house! Yay!<\/p>\n
This evening I mentioned to husband how thrilled I was about this simple action being completed. He asked about one of items. He was confused why I would donate it. How he wanted to use it. <\/p>\n
Really I asked? Even though it’s been sitting in a pile for 3 years on the floor?Yes he responded. <\/p>\n
Too bad I said. If you haven’t needed it all this time, or valued it enough to move it from a pile on the floor, you do not need it.<\/p>\n
He did not agree. <\/p>\n
