For sure. He&#8217;s such a lovable goof. And he makes me smile every day. Also.. makes me extremely tired. lol<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But I still think of Smokey every day. I still get sad every day. I try not to. But I do. Sometimes just a little sad. Other days, a lot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I feel like when I am happy and having fun with Indy, I am being&#8230;I don&#8217;t know the right word&#8230;disrespectful? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I also know that is silly. Smokey had a long, happy life. But the loss was great. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I miss that smile. That low ah-roo. That calm, constant presence in my life. Indy is a spaz. As he is supposed to be at 2 years old. But here he is sleeping, after a fun day, and I watch him smile in his sleep. Just like I did with Smokey. And Angelus. And Stormy. And even Shadow.  And it makes me smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They are all always in my heart. But Smokey is still very much fresh in my memory banks. And I still find myself calling Indy Smokey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s very hard. But we are working it out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But I miss my guy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Indy has been a wonderful, happy addition to my life.
